Indications:
• Heat and toxicity: boils, carbuncles.
• Heat in the blood: epistaxis, hematemesis, hemoptysis, uterine bleeding, and especially hematuria.
• Not as strong as Da ji.
Hong-Yen Hsu (Oriental Materia Medica): Hypotensive, antibacterial.
